A persona is like a chatbot, but much better! A persona can not only give answers based on a knowledge base but actually lead conversations as well. For example, a persona can run a screening call where it introduces itself, asks basic questions, debates and challenges an interview candidate, allows for questions at the end, and then finds available times for a follow-up call. Screening is just one use case—think of any 30-minute conversation a business has on a repeat basis, and we can build an “agenda” that covers what your business does.

How do I make a persona?

How can a persona help my company?

Think of a persona as your front line. Once you’ve trained a persona on yourself or your company and connected it to your website, WhatsApp, Facebook, Discord, or other channels, users can chat with your persona, which will respond like you would.

But here’s the cool part—you can also create “agendas” or structured conversations so that if a user says a key phrase like “I want to order” or “I want to apply for a job,” your persona can run a call, ask questions, discuss and challenge the user where necessary (like for screening candidates), or take down an order (like for restaurants or e-commerce stores). Then, it will send you the conversation details when it’s done.

We don’t disclose the models we use underneath. We use a variety of platforms on the backend, most of the work being done by our custom tech stack built on top of a Large Language Model.

Think of the persona as a person and an agenda as a set of instructions to carry out a specific conversation.

For example, if you hired me to run a series of calls, you might send me a Google Doc listing topics to cover, sample questions to ask, and instructions on summarizing or scoring the call. My real self would be the persona, and this list of instructions would be the agenda.

Can I make my persona on my computer instead of in WhatsApp or Messenger?
