Knowledge
The Knowledge Base feature allows you to add and manage external data sources that your AI persona can reference to provide more informed responses.
Accessing the Knowledge Base
- Navigate to My Persona in your account.
- Click on the Knowledge tab.
- View all added knowledge sources, including:
- Type: The format of the source (Webpage, Google Sheet, etc.).
- Source: The specific webpage or document linked.
- Created At: When the source was added.
- Last Sync At: The most recent update.
- Status: Shows if the source is successfully synced.
Adding a Knowledge Source
- Click the Add Document button.
- Choose one of the supported source type: youtube videos/ youtube channels, PDF, webpage or files (.PDF, .XLSX, DOCX, .CSV files, and .DOCX Word files (currently not .DOC) that are up to 5 megabytes)
- Fill in the required fields:
- Source: Enter the URL or document link.
- Max Depth: Choose how many levels of a webpage the AI should scan (e.g., Single Page or Full Website).
- Monitor Change: Define the frequency at which the AI automatically updates its knowledge source
- Click Add Document to finalize the process.
Updating and Managing Sources
Click the Actions (⋮) button next to a source for the following options:
- Details: View additional information about the source.
- Update Data: Sync the latest information from the source.
- Delete: Remove the source permanently.
Best Practices
- Regularly update sources to ensure your AI persona provides accurate responses.
- Use structured data (Google Sheets) for FAQs or large information sets.
- Remove outdated sources to prevent incorrect responses.
