To set up your web channel, go to the “Channels” page on your dashboard and click the gear icon next to “WEB”.

Webchat URL

Your AI persona comes with a default URL like name.personastudios.ai. You can change this by editing the “Chat URL” field—for example, to newname.personastudios.ai. Please note that persona names must be unique. If your preferred name isn’t available, try a variation, as it may already be taken.

If you’d like to use your own domain (e.g., name.mybrand.com), ask your tech team to add a DNS A-RECORD pointing to your current persona URL. This allows you to remove the personastudios.ai domain entirely.

Webchat Header

Next, customize the header text that appears at the top of your chat. The default looks like:

• Header: “Let’s talk!”
• Subheader: “Please provide some basic information to get started.”

You can modify both fields to suit your brand or use case.

Webchat Appearance

You can personalize how your chat interface looks:

• Choose a Default Theme Mode: Light, Dark, or System.
• Select a theme preset, or create your own using solid colors, gradients, or an image.
• If you upload an image, the system will auto-generate a theme color to match.
• You can also adjust the persona’s colors by clicking the paint palettes shown in the chat preview on the right.

As you make changes, a live preview on the right will show you how your chat will appear. Once you’re satisfied with the setup, click Save Changes to apply everything.
