To set up your web chat, start by customizing your persona’s chat URL. By default, your AI persona is available at persona-studios.personastudios.ai. You can personalize this by modifying the subdomain—for example, change it to yourbrand.personastudios.ai to reflect your business or brand. You can work with your tech team to add a DNS A-RECORD entry so that you can remove the personastudios.ai domain entirely (e.g. chat.yourbrand.com that points to yourbrand.personastudios.ai)
Next, customize the chat header. The default is a short, welcoming header message like “Let’s talk!” and a subheader to guide users, such as “Please provide some basic information to help us begin our conversation” but you can customize this to anything you want.
You can also personalize the appearance of your chat interface. Choose a Default Theme Mode—either Light or Dark—for a consistent look across all visitors. Then, select a theme from the available presets or create your own using solid colors, gradients, or an image. If you choose an image, the system will automatically generate a theme color based on it. For best results, we recommend uploading a screenshot of your website to closely match your site’s visual style.
As you make changes, a live Preview window on the right side of the screen will show how your chat will appear. Once you’re satisfied, click Save Changes to apply your settings.
To share your web chat, click the Share button to copy the chat URL. You can then distribute this link, allowing visitors to interact with your AI persona directly through the web.
