FB Messenger

To connect your persona to Facebook Messenger, go to the “Channels” page in your dashboard and click the gear icon next to “MESSENGER”.

Step 1: Create a Facebook Page
Head to Facebook and create a new page . Name it after your persona (e.g. “Jane Smith’s Persona”). You can choose any industry—it won’t affect how your persona works. You can also leave the bio section blank for now.

Note: You can connect an existing Facebook page instead of creating a new one.
However, be aware that your persona will immediately start replying to all messages automatically.

If you don’t use the page personally, it’s safe to connect it.

If you do message users yourself, we recommend creating a new, separate page just for the persona.

Step 2: Authenticate and Connect
Once your page is created, return to the “MESSENGER” section on the Channels page of your Persona Studios dashboard. Click “Connect your Facebook Account”. Then, click the “Select Pages” dropdown and choose the page you just created.

Once selected, your persona will be connected and ready to reply to messages via Facebook Messenger.

To connect more pages, click “Connect More Pages”.

Facebook Troubleshooting Tips

Make sure you have Admin access to the Facebook page you’re trying to connect.
If your page isn’t showing, try refreshing the list or ensure you’re logged into the correct Facebook account.
